Pick a design, colour and orientation, add student photos, and print the whole school’s identity cards at the real card size: 9 vertical or 10 horizontal cards per A4 sheet with cutting gaps, plus an optional back side.
QUICK ANSWERA school ID card normally carries the school name and logo, session, student photo, name, class and section, roll or admission number, date of birth, blood group, parent’s phone, address and the principal’s signature. Printed at CR80 size (85.6 × 54 mm), it fits standard PVC pouches and lanyards. FastFee’s free ID card maker builds these in bulk from your student list, with a QR code on each card.

Printing tips for perfect ID cards
Always print at 100% (actual size), not “fit to page”, so each card measures exactly 85.6 × 54 mm. Use 250–300 GSM card paper and laminate, or take the PDF to a local PVC card printer.
For double-sided cards, print the fronts, put the sheet back in the printer and print the backs. The back side lists instructions and the school’s return address in case a card is lost.
Photos look best when cropped to passport size against a plain background. The tool resizes each photo so a whole school fits in your browser’s storage.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make staff or teacher ID cards too?
Yes. Add staff as “students” in a class called Staff and put their designation in the Section field, or use the separate member ID card tool for non-school organisations.
What does the QR code contain?
Plain text with the school name, student name, class, roll number, blood group and parent phone. Anyone scanning it with a phone camera sees those details; no internet lookup is involved.
Is there a limit on the number of cards?
No limit. Very large schools may want to print class by class to keep the PDF small.
Do I have to type students again in every tool?
No. The report card, admit card, ID card, transfer certificate and bonafide tools share one student list in your browser. Add or paste the class once from Excel and every tool uses it.
Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for FastFee is optional. The free plan keeps your records synced across devices; automatic WhatsApp reminders, UPI AutoPay and team logins are on FastFee Premium.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
