FastFee collects information necessary to provide our fee recovery and management services. This includes school details, administrator accounts, student records (such as names and roll numbers), and parent contact information (phone numbers and emails) provided by the educational institution.

2. Student, Parent, and School Data Handling

We process student and parent data solely on behalf of the school. The school remains the data controller. We do not sell, rent, or share student or parent information with third-party marketers or advertisers under any circumstances. Data is used strictly for fee management and related communication.

3. Payment-Related Information

When processing fees, FastFee integrates with secure, RBI-approved payment gateways. We do not store sensitive payment details such as full credit card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and processed securely by our payment partners.

4. SMS, WhatsApp, and Email Communication

Our platform automates the sending of fee reminders, receipts, and notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, and Email. By using FastFee, schools authorize us to send these transactional messages to parents on their behalf. Parents can opt-out of notifications through their school administrators.

5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption, secure server infrastructure, and strict access controls, to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Regular security audits are conducted to ensure data integrity.

6. Data Retention

FastFee retains user and institution data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain school fee records, generate receipts and reports, support account access, resolve disputes, meet security requirements, and comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

Data such as school/admin account details, student fee records, receipts, payment status, and related reports may be retained while the school or institution account remains active. If an account is closed or deletion is requested, we will delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days of verification, unless retention is required for legal, financial, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.

Backup copies may remain in secure backup systems for a limited period before being automatically deleted or overwritten.

7. Data Deletion Request

Users, schools, or institutions may request deletion of their account or personal data by contacting us at:

Please include the registered school/institution name, registered mobile number or email address, and a short description of the data deletion request.

After receiving a valid request, we will verify the request and process deletion or anonymization of eligible personal data within 30 days of verification, unless retention is required for legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.
